I was born in South Africa and spent my childhood drawing and painting constantly. At 13 I went off to art school for five years and then on to the Open Window Art Academy, where I finished top of my class in Visual Communication and Fine Arts and was awarded my National Diploma. Then, at 21, I moved to England, and I now live in Cambridge with my husband Mario (also a designer and photographer) and our cat Sam (who’s yet to finish a picture, although we live in hope).
In total I’ve worked in the design industry for over ten years in a variety of different settings, from medical illustration to London agency work and now as a freelancer.
